Twenty Page 10" x 8" Book

For this project, I made an illustrated scripture book that leaned into creative typography. My process started off by selecting Bible verses to use in this book. I selected the verses used because of their hopeful nature and the personal impact they have had in my life. After selecting the verses, I created sketches for each spread and selected a color palette. I chose a bright color palette that carries the intention of hope and peace throughout the book. For typography, I chose a clean and simple sans serif for clarity and more room for experimentation. I eventually had these spreads turned into a hardcover-bound book so the viewer can interact with and feel the physical pages.
