After Effects & Photoshop

The goal of this project was to create a motion graphic animation with data visualization. More specifically, my goal was to educate high school students on the endangered Riparian Brush Rabbit. I chose a collage-style, inspired by Vox Animations, to create an educational animation that kept the viewer engaged. I chose a selective color palette with mainly black, white, green, and orange for the purpose of keeping the video cohesive and stylized. After researching the Riparian Brush Rabbit, I created storyboards for each scene to have a greater understanding of the motion I wanted to implement. Using After Effects, I executed this project, choosing 12fps. I wanted this animation to have a stop-motion feel because of the tactile and scrapbook aesthetic I was going after.
